You know my love of cake runs deep, but did you also know my love of basketball does too? I’ve decided to pair the two together and create a Cake March Madness Bracket. Just a little something fun to do this month together!

How to Play

  • Download the bracket below.
  • Look through each division (Chocolate, Peanut Butter / Graham, Fruit, and Misc.) and pick a winner from each pairing. You’ll then move those winners to the next round and pick a winner from that pairing.
  • You’ll fill out the entire bracket – GUESSING which cake will win each pairing and which cake you think will win overall.
  • Once you make your guess for the winning cake, COMMENT BELOW WITH YOUR WINNER. This gives us a time stamp to make sure you entered before the competition starts.

How It Works

  • Starting next week, I’ll post the cake pairings in my Instagram stories for everyone to vote on.
  • We’ll start with the Sweet 16, then the Elite 8, the Final 4, and finish with the Championship pairing.
  • Winning cakes will be chosen from that voting process and I’ll announce in IG stories the updates so you can make sure to check out how you’re doing on your bracket.
  • Once we get to the final winner, I’ll take a look at your guesses below and from those who guessed correctly, I’ll RANDOMLY SELECT ONE WINNER.

    every year we do March Madness!
    the first year we did candy bars, second year, sodas, third, ice cream and finally this year, little snack cakes!
    i’m now hoping to make next March a cake year!

  166. This was so fun and so tough! So many yummy sounding cakes! It came down go Tonight show squaring off with Peach Crisp and I choose Peach crisp (your Perk Energy flavor is to die for!) as the WINNER!

  262. This was SO hard. Some of the pairings were almost impossible to choose between, ugh! My Cake Champion is Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting, with Peach Crisp just hair behind. This is so fun, and now I have 64+ cakes that I need to try with my mouth, and not just my eyes!

    1. So fun! We all printed it out and filled them out. My final winner was Peaches and Cream. My son’s final winner was Graham Slam and my daughter’s was Churro Cake.

  532. I wish I had tried all these cakes to really know how I would vote so I voted by what sounds the most delicious from the name and reading each cakes ingredients. The top 4 for me were S’mores, chocolate peanut butter, Pina colada, Biscoff cakes. That’s a hard pick to go from there but the top one is… S’mores!
