My new Gluten Free Baked Apple Crisp Bites are a delicious and easy-to-make healthy dessert that you’ll have whipped up in under 30 minutes!
Family Food Wars
One of our favorite family activities is our Family Food Wars. It’s started a couple years ago, when my son Westin challenged me to a no-bake bake off! Avery and Ryan were judges. It was so fun and snowballed into a series of food wars – mostly between Avery and Westin.
The other night, Westin challenged me again and we decided to kick off the new year with a healthy dessert challenge. Ryan and Avery judged and we ended with a split decision. Avery chose Westin’s dessert, Ryan chose mine: these Gluten Free Baked Apple Crisp Bites.
Gluten Free Baked Apple Crisp Bites
You are going to love how easy these baked apple crisp bites are to whip up. I used gluten free ingredients, as well as monk fruit and maple syrup for sweeteners.
I ended up cutting the apples in slices to make the bake time faster and to serve as little individual bite-size desserts.
To make these apple crisp bites, you’ll simply cut the apples into four half-inch thick slices. Be sure to core the centers. In a mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients and use a pastry cutter to mix and “cut in” the butter to create a crumble.
Excited for you to try these!
