Winter Fashion Favorites – A roundup of my favorite clothing items for winter!
Earlier this year I shared some of my favorite fashion pieces for fall. Since “What am I wearing?” is a constant question I am asked on social media, I thought I would start sharing this regularly. So without further ado here are some of my winter fashion favorites!
Best Holiday Blouse
I know it’s past the holidays, but this blouse is a classic and one that you can now get on sale and keep wearing year to year.
Best Holiday Pants
Pair these velvet pants with a tee and loafers for a sophisticated casual look or a blouse and heels for a night out!
Best Holiday Skirt
This should be in multiple categories. It’s a great color for the holidays, but it’s also a staple color to have in your closet all year long.
Best Holiday Dress
This is the winter fashion favorite type of dress everyone needs. It’s such a flattering fit and an easy-wear item.
Favorite Jeans
Hands down, my favorite pair of jeans ever! In fact, all of my jeans are Madewell. The fit of their jeans just work for me and I’ve learned not to stray from what works.
Favorite Jacket
This is a great layer jacket because it’s not fitted. I got a small and have plenty of room for sweaters and sweatshirts underneath. It’s not quite as warm as a Patagonia jacket, but it’s close and the price is awesome.
Favorite Blazer
I can’t get enough of this oversized blazer. I’ve been wearing it with everything!
Favorite Sweater
This winter, I’m living in sweaters (mostly from Madewell). I love solids because they’re so versatile. Of course cozy sweaters are included in my list of winter fashion favorites!
Another Favorite Sweater
I just barely got this sweater and don’t think I’ll ever take it off! It’s super soft.
Favorite Tee
I have this tee in the long sleeved version and get asked about it every time I wear it. I’ll be ordering the short sleeve version too!
Favorite Shoes
I live for sneakers. These are most than just my winter fashion favorites; Vans and Nikes are usually my go-to.
My Good Side
And what would a clothing post be without my favorite sweatshirt. I like to wear this one slightly oversized. I have a medium.
This something you’ll hear me say time and time again as I coach you on creating delicious tasting and beautiful looking cakes:
“Focus on your good side! As you decorate your cake, look for the good side. Too often we get fixated on the imperfections in one tiny area of our cake and completely miss what we’ve done well. So, find your good side. And as soon as you find it, stop! Be proud of the good side. Show off the good side.”
My new incredibly soft “My Good Side” sweatshirt is the perfect reminder to focus on the good and be proud of how far we’ve come in our journey, no matter the imperfections we may still have.
